本學院學位學程發展方向與重點：1、觀光旅遊學位學程將培養兼具人文素養、創業精神、富國際宏觀與科際整合能力的觀光專業人才，提昇我國觀光旅遊產業的人力素質與服務品質。2、餐旅管理學位學程整合保健與餐旅經營所需的營養保健、生理機能、食品衛生、觀光、旅館經營、與安全、會計、財務、行銷、採購、人力、電子商務暨服務管理等專業課程，授予全方位的專業知識與技術。

觀光旅遊蘊藏龐大商機並有增進國際友誼、提升國家形象的功能，且可藉以優化國民生活環境品質，其重要性不言可喻。有鑑於此，發展觀光產業已成為我國當前重要的施政目標，是行政院推動的六大新興產業之一。為順應觀光相關人才之需求，推展台灣之觀光遊憩建設，配合國家未來發展方向及發揮本校跨領域整合特性前提下，觀光旅遊學位學程將培養兼具人文素養、創業精神、富國際宏觀與科際整合能力的觀光專業人才，為提昇我國觀光旅遊產業的人力素質與服務品質而努力。

The position of Department of Hospitality Management is to cultivate basic talents of hospitality management and focus on hospitality management and service skill. The teaching strategy does not only focus on theory, but also practice. We train students with professional knowledge and skill, emphasize language communicational skill, cultivate students with operation and innovation ability and personality with service ethics and health care.

The Department of Leisure and Recreation Management is committed to the promotion of professionalism in leisure services to improve the quality of life and well-being of people. The department offers students a wide range of courses on planning, programming, implementation, and management of leisure services that facilitate students’ pursuit of professional careers in related fields. The program is partly designed in association with the curriculum requirements recommended by the Accreditation Standards of the National Recreation and Parks Association (NRPA, USA). Dedicated faculty with varied specialties will continue to enrich students’ learning experiences with many research and service opportunities.

台灣烘焙暨飲品產業的正蓬勃發展，所以烘焙產業的人才培育、技術研發與永續經營發展與提升是刻不容緩的。
有鑒於此，本校遂籌備設立烘焙暨飲調學程，希望能儘早協助台灣烘焙暨飲品產業的人才培育、技術研發與永續經營之發展需求。為符合觀光餐旅服務產業整體發展需求，本校於104學年度設立烘焙暨飲調學程，隸屬於觀光餐旅學院，本學程除扮演培育學生專業烘焙與飲調技能提升外，更是跨學門專業知識的良好學習的橋樑，以協助有志於烘焙與飲品專業技能發展之學生。
